These limited edition pixels are from special runs made to order for our customers' projects. They differ from our standard pixels in at least one and sometimes several features: White only/RGB LEDs, jumper length, jumper color, clear/diffuse pixel head, clear/opaque housing, and waterproof rating. All of the options here are in units of 50 pixels (e.g. strands of 25 will come in pairs).

White-only pixels are especially elegant and brilliant for monochrome projects. Normally, a beautiful red, green, and blue LED is soldered to the output of our driver circuit. In this case, we've chosen a beautiful cool white LED and soldered it to the green output of our driver circuit. Power consumption at full brightness is about 1A. If you're ordering 4-pin male or female connectors, we recommend that you specify White in the Notes section -- it'll help you distinguish these strands from our RGB pixels. Available in bullets or squares. Standard distance between pixels: (3" for bullets; 4 1/2" for square base).
Extra-Long Jumper Wire
For projects that require longer distance between the pixels, we have strands of
-50 square-based pixels with 6" (14.25 cm) of wire from center to center (instead of the standard 4 1/3"). The jumper wire is gray.

Our standard pixels are cast with milky diffusion, allowing for a uniform glow. These special water-clear cast LEDs allow for each individual red, green, and blue LED to shine through, casting a mesmerizing splash of color onto any surface that they're aimed toward. The distance between pixels is the standard 3" from center to center with the lead wire fully extended.
Water-clear pixels are available in bullets, in strands of 50 or 25 (strands of 25 are sold in pairs for a total of 50 pixels).
Fragile pixels have the same spacing as the standard bullet and square-base configurations but without the silicon casing that isolates and protects the chip and with no waterproofing. With minimal electrical isolation/protection, this is the smallest and lightest configuration and is best for costumes and projects that won't see a lot of wear and tear.
The PVC mold that encases the chip on these pixels is opaque white instead of being the standard transparent PVC. They're available in strands of 50 bullets.
Never underestimate the power of a single TCL pixel. Inserting one of these between a series of 4-pin extensions (3 extensions, 1 pixel, 3 extensions, 1 pixel, etc.) is enough to boost the signal. There's no upper limit to the total distance as long as power is added as needed.
It can also be used to split data for mirror-image applications.
